Aubrey Peeples
Aubrey Peeples, an American singer and actress. She won the most prizes for her performances in the roles of Layla Grant and Claudia Shepard, respectively as Claudia Shepard and Layla Grant in Nashville (2012). The role she played was that of Jerrica Jem Benton in the movie of 2015 Jem and the Holograms. Aubrey Peeples was raised in Lake Mary, Florida by the parents Wendy Ashley and Wendy Ashley. She is the younger sibling of Ally. When she was growing up, Aubrey performed with her school's Orlando Repertory Theatre for ten years. Her speech was the valedictory of her school during her time at Lake Mary Preparatory School. Harvard University admitted her, but she needed to be able to consent to her admission the second time due to her Nashville performance. Peeples guest-starred in Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally (2011) Grey's Anatomy (2005) as well as regular roles in Necessary Roughness (1991). She was in two made-for-television movies, Ace Ventura Jr. Pet Detective (2009 and The Good Mother). She played Layla Grant, a major character from The Good Mother, a Nashville second season of the drama. In 2019, Peeples spoke about her bipolar disorder during an interview in NKD Magazine. Indiewire has named Peeples as one of the top gifted actors under the age of 20 in September 2014
